/*/*/*/  Description  /*/*/*/

////////////////////////////////////

Lana Gaiden is the follow up to the Zelda Classic quest Legend of Lana (DX) and
features many similar gameplay and story ideas. You as the player take
control of Lana, the titular sorceress who is on a quest to save the world tree.

Unlike many other Zelda Classic quests Lana is not equipped with a shield, so
a greater focus is put on dodging things. New in Gaiden is a level up system
though. Lana will grow more powerful at magic and melee the more foe's she
defeat.

Lana Gaiden is not the hardest quest out there, but it IS unforgiving. Death
takes you back to your last save point and you lose all progress you have made
since. You'll need to play careful to succeed.

The story follows up what Lana and Cia were doing in Hyrule Warriors, as such
you might get a bit lost when following the events in this game if you haven't
played Hyrule Warriors. As such it is recommended that you play, or read up a
synopsis, before you start this quest. That is, assuming you want to have a
perfect understanding of the plot, which is not necessary to find enjoyment in
this quest.

////////////////////////////////////

/*/*/*/  Set-Up  /*/*/*/

////////////////////////////////////

This quest was made in and for Zelda Classic v2.50.2. While the quest may run
in other versions of Zelda Classic, those are strictly speaking not supported,
you have been warned.

Zelda Classic can be found (and downloaded) at: http://www.zeldaclassic.com/downloads/
at the time of this writing. Though you more likely than not already know about
Zelda Classic if you stumbled upon this quest.

Lana Gaiden uses external Audio Files, these should be put in the same folder as
the quest file itself. If you downloaded this quest directly from the author
(or a perfect mirror), then those audio files should be avalible in the Zip archive.

The world tree is dying. Too much manipulation of the time-lines has caused
malign growth and a corruption to fester deep within its roots. As a
guardian of time looking over the world Lana could see what such a future
would lead too. To prevent the rot of the entire world she sets out to save
the sacred tree. The journey to the tree was long and exhausting, but now
she stands at it's base. Your adventure starts here...!

/*/*/*/  In-Depth Systems  /*/*/*/

////////////////////////////////////

Lana Gaiden features a level up system. This is a bit on the point explanation
for what various things do, (level up system or otherwise). Look up if you
need explanations, but mind that some might consider things here SPOILERS!
You have been warned!

Level: Current player level, nothing else to it.

Experience: Goes up when you kill enemies. Match the next requirement to
	gain a level.

Power: Gained on level up if Lana has used more physical weapons than magical
	since the last level up. The higher your Power the more Spear, Sword,
	and hammer techniques you learn. Furthermore, with enough Power your
	basic attacks grow stronger.

Magic: Gained on level up if Lana has used more magical weapons than physical
	since the last level up. The higher your Magic the faster you regenerate
	magic (MP), and the more effective Spells get.

Vigor: Gained on level up. The higher your Vigor the faster you regenerate life.

Luck: Measures how lucky you are! Goes up on level-up if you're lucky enough.
	In some very unlikely and odd scenarios Luck can be beneficial, but for
	the most it is useless.

Power Upgrades (Left to right, top to bottom on the Inventory screen):
	Spin attack
	Hammer Charge / Quake Hammer
	Charge Speed
	Hurricane Spin
	Basic Attack Damage
	Magic Strike

Spells:
	Time Freeze: Stops time for (most) things. Allowing Lana to avoid damage
		for a short time. It lasts longer the higher your Magic stat is.

	Shield: Halves the amount of damage Lana takes. Lasts longer the higher
		your magic stat is. It's tracked by a RED SHIELD on the HUD.

	Heal: Heals Lana's wounds over time. Higher Magic stat means more health!

	Wall: Deflects most projectiles in the game. Lasts longer the higher your
		magic stat is. It's tracked by a PURPLE SHIELD on the HUD.

Max: Your current and potential maximum carrying capacity for Bombs and Arrows.

Winged Sapphire: Each one collected reduces shop prices by 2%, there are five
	in the game, for a total of 10% off in stores.

Warp Wire: Warps you back to the latest Save Point you passed. Useful for avoiding
	death, getting out of tricky situations, or just plainly to save time.

Stratum: I realize not everyone knows Geology so I included this here. Basically
	a stratum signifies a layer in height that has a different composition
	compared to what's above or below it (relatively). I'm no expert so if you
	want something more detailed ask one, or, you know, look up wikipedia.
